- Aluminium Powder used for increase the property of porosity. The Aluminium powder reacts with gupsum and forms hydrogen bubbles to form within the mix, thereby increasing the volume-to-weight ratio of the concrete mix.
- Gypsum is a soft sulfate mineral composed of calcium sulfate dihydrate, with the chemical formula CaSO4•2H2O. It is widely mined and is used as a fertilizer, and as the main constituent in many forms of plaster, blackboard chalk and wallboard.
- After Casting in moulds once green cake has achieved cutting strength, it is ready to be demoulded and cut as per requirements. Cutting operation is achieved by moving green cake through cutting machine.
- In this section the green cake is preheated to 45DegC before feeding it to the autoclave.
- An autoclave is a pressure chamber used to carry out industrial processes requiring elevated temperature and pressure different from ambient air pressure. After Batching of blocks they are placed in an autoclave chamber for 12 hours. During this steam pressure hardening process, when the temperature reaches 190° Celsius and the pressure reaches 8 to 12 bar, quartz sand reacts with calcium hydroxide to form calcium silicate hydrate, which gives AAC its high strength and other unique properties.

Depending upon the source and makeup of the coal being burned, the components of fly ash varies, but all fly ash includes substantial amounts of silicon dioxide (SiO2), Aluminium oxide (Al2O3) and calcium oxide (CaO).

- A tank which receives condensate return from the steam system and make up water as required in a plant. Boiler feed water is an essential part of boiler operations.
- Heat recovery from condensate can be happened through two stages of heat exchange i.e respectively from condensate and flash steam. Because this condensate will be contaminated and not allowed to send back directly to the boiler feed water tank.
