UKL AV and AVA are meant to remove air automatically from steam spaces. Presence of air aids corrosion and leakage from pipelines and from vessels. Air is a harmful ingredient in steam going to process areas.    Air can enter steam space through Boiler Feed Water circuit.

Air Vent removes the air from the system and ensures quick start-up and maintains batch times.  Presence of air in the steam system leads to many problems like prolonged start-up, corrosion, improper heating, etc.
