This Trap operates on buoyancy principle. Condensate / Moisture/ Liquid being havier (High Sp gravity than air), Settles at the bottom, causing the float to rise & falls with low level of condensate. The float is attached to valve assembly which opens the outlet orifice when the level rises and displaces the condensate. The same valve then closes the outlet orifice when the level of condensate drops.
