Composition :
Graphite is a black in coloured& inorganic form of pure carbon which can be mixed with PTFE yarn to give excellent properties.
PTFE ( polytetrafluoroethylene) is white coloured polymer made through polymerization of tetrafluroethylene. Lubricated PTFE yarn will enhanced the properties of packing.
Properties :
Graphite yarn braided to from Graphite packing which is having Low coefficient friction. PTFE packing is having low coefficient of Friction, Good chemical resistance & suitable for strong acids, alkalis aggressive chemicals.
Applications:
Graphite packing :- Suitable for use as a general valve and pump packing within many industries including chemical plant and chemical processing, gas plant, petrochemical plant, power plants, refineries.Expanded Graphite packing are used in steam application for valves,pumps.
PTFE packing : PTFE packing is suitable forcorrosiveapplication, strong acid, Aggressive chemicals. PTFE packing widely used in chemical, petro chemical,Pharma industries,Food & beverages& many other industries. PTFE can used for packing for equipment like valve, pumps,mixers,Agitators.
